A high profile music fest is on at The Music Academy from this evening with vocalist Nithysree Mahadevan in concert.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on East Mada Street has a packed kutcheri schedule for rasikas, starting Friday. Three concerts, starting from 4 p.m. are featured daily till Vijayadasami. And young, talented artistes have been featured here.
Giri Fine Arts has planned a concert series at the Sri Malleeswarar Temple, Bazaar Road, Mylapore.
Another place which follows a tradition is the Ramaktishna Mission Students' Home, on P S Sivaswasmy Road, Mylapore. Sudha Ragunathan opens the fest here with her concert.
